Resolve unknown IDs once; if an ID is already known, use a focused read instead. Document matches include block versions and the sheet revision, usable directly for conditional replacements when the snippet provides sufficient context. Snippets may be truncated; use read_board(blockIds,view=full) when content or formatting matters. Kanban searches active card titles, descriptions, labels, checklist text, branch and worktree, and returns card IDs and versions. Structured Data searches record values and returns record IDs, table IDs, and versions; use read_data for cell values and column versions before editing. Search node plain text on a live board. Case-insensitive contains (default), exact, or fuzzy (bounded typo tolerance over the full label, best matches first; short queries use contains). Returns bounded snippets and stable node IDs with a revision and pagination.
